NCAA Football 2008

Its that time!First round of games coming up this weekend. How do you like your teams chances?GT has a new coach in Paul Johnson and a new system in the triple option.I really like it and im not sure how well it will do in its first year here, but i feel that in 1-2 years with a good set of recruits for the system Johnson could take us to the ACC championship and the Orange Bowl. All i hope for this season is that UGA fails miserably and never makes the national championship game.

Wooooo!!! Happy college ball is back not so much for the NFL but. WWOOOOOOOOO!!!! College ball!! Not so sure about NIU this year with new coach Jerry Kill he might need some getting used to. Notre Dame not really expecting much, but a .500 season. They open with San Diego on the 6th.

Um...

I think they may feel they deserved to make it last year...I expect great things from the Dawgs. And the Gators, for that matter. Tough schedules for all SEC teams, though. Tough conference overall, really.

I'll be following Texas Tech this year. Definitely should be the best team under Leach. Their only problem is a trend of going dangerously flat at times. So we'll see how they do through the grind of the season this year. Needless to say, Crabtree and Harrell will be amazing. And the defense should be more agressive this year, forming a perfect compliment to their offense. The D doesn't have to be great, just good.

Watch out for Carolina...

last year #4 Pass Defence and like 10 returning starters..

Watch Chris Smelley win the starting Job next Thursday and Prove that HE should of got the starting spot in the first place..

Mike Davis will have a breakout year..

If we can beat Georgia, we can ride the Momentum till we face our second half of the Schele.

GT started off alright beating Jacksonville St. 41-14.Triple option looked good,Dwyer had a hundred yard game and 2 TD's and Nesbitt had 147 total yds with 2 TD's.Lost 2 of 5 fumbles though and were 0-2 for FG's.

I take it your talking about South Carolina?

I have to say I'm impressed to see more teams choosing tougher first games. Alabama vs. Clemson, Michigan vs. Utah, Michigan State vs. California, Illinois vs. Mizzou, etc.

If Michigan can figure out their offense, particularly their QB and their running game, I think we could have a successful season. At the same time, if there is any year MSU takes it to Michigan, its this year.

My early national championship call:
Oklahoma over USC. By a lot.

Go Blue!

So Ohio State totally annihilated Youngstown State, which wasn't a big surprise.

What was a surprise was that my college, Bowling Green State University beat Pitt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG!!!! I'm in shock.
