| Glad to see GT up there in the polls finally at 21 and in the BCS at 18!If we can make it through our ACC stretch(whichi think we can, barring any injuries) it'll set up a very nice game against UGA and if VT loses again could set us up in the ACC championship game.

| I have to say I was impressed by Ohio State on Saturday. The past few weeks they have looked awful, but they dominated a good MSU team. They were very good on offense and defense! |

I need some top 3 teams to start losing, especially Texas. |

Jk
Yeah, Texas, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, and USC could all lose again!!!!
Realistically I think Alabama will probably lose. Other than that who knows? If Ohio State beats Penn State they better move up. That's All I'm saying. |

#80 | | Cool enough Administrator | The way USC dominated OSU, there is no way OSU should finish higher than USC if they both win the rest of their games. Other than that, OSU has a good outside shot of the NC game, especially if they beat Penn State. That will be a good game. |

| Honestly to me 'Bama has been the toughest SEC team i've watched all year. They completely dominated UGA(the score was closer than the game really was) and shut down Moreno and forced Stafford into mistakes.
Texas is looking extremely good, kinda surprised by them.
If Penn St beats OSU they have a very good shot at making the NC.

| On the topic of USC and OSU, it kind of bothers me that teams with a loss early in the season don't suffer in the polls as much as a team with a late season loss, due to the extra time to recover. It's really my only problem with the current system.

#83 | | Cool enough Administrator | I do agree with that. Then again, a team at the end of the season should be much better than at the beginning. I don't know. |

OSU lost to the top team in the country, while missing by far their best offensive player, and arguably one of the top few offensive players in the country. I'm not saying they should be ranked ahead of USC, but I do think that losing to unranked teams should hurt you worse than losing to the top ranked team in the country (while missing your star player, at that). It is not as black and white as "USC beat OSU, so they should be ranked ahead of them". |

The conference champions from the 6 major conferences and then 4 at large bids to the next 4 top-ranked teams? I'm open to the idea of a college football playoff, but I have yet to see a plan that would actually be any better than the current system. |

#89 | | Cool enough Administrator | I agree, but there is more to it. USC didn't just beat them, they destroyed OSU. All season (minus the loss), USC has been dominant. |
