| A players propensity for injury will most definately effect their value in the draft, so you can't say it doesn't matter. Teams that are investing millions of dollars, will take that into consideration when drafting a player, and deciding what round they will be drafted. Wells will most definately be drafted, but this will effect that position in the draft.
I'm a KC Chiefs fan (yes there are a few of us left ) and Brodie Croyle is about as fragile as a player can get. He's injured in every other game he plays in.
As for Tressel telling him to go pro...I don't think that's the coaches responsibility. They can certainly give them their blessing to go, but I would think in a sport as violent as football, an education should be an important item to take with you when you leave college. Too many players get hurt, and have nothing to fall back on if the pro football career doesn't work out. |

Woody Hayes started the program. |

Also I have been a buckeye fan since birth, so I don't really see what your point is with that either. | Yes, when he plays, he plays incredibly well, even when he's playing hurt, and this is why he should still go in the first round. He is easily a top 5 talent, but will probably not be drafted that high because of his injuries. When you are injury-prone, you are available to play for less snaps and you have a shorter shelf-life in the league. This is very relevant to coaches and GMs. My only point in saying that I am as true a Buckeyes fan as can be is that I love Beanie Wells, I think he's a great player, and I want to see him succeed as a pro. You just gave me the impression that you thought anyone doubting his future NFL success was somehow biased against him. I'm telling you that I'm not, I'm just acknowledging that all of his injuries are going to be a major red flag. |

So I watched the Simpsons Movie instead and got more out enjoyment out of it that. |

| Everything that starts with the word 'Big' in college football, is over-rated. |

| I knew Florida could beat Oklahoma. However, I'm not sure who would win between Utah and Florida. We will never know either. That's the game I wanted to see.
