| Interesting. In the polls today USC is #1.I dont like UGA and i dont want UGA to be there, but seriously how the heck can you move a team up to #1 over another team when both won and won big?

USC beat an ACC team by 45, allowing 7 on the road.
How could they not move USC to #1? Being #1 should not mean an automatic pass if you win. |

Really not impressing me here. Again, USC demolished a team from a BSC conference. This is MUCH more impressive than what OSU and Georgia did. Stronger opponent and bigger win. This means something. |

| Has Ohio State actually released any news about their running back yet? Last I heard, the word was 'no broken bones, and it isn't turf toe.'
I'm really looking forward to the USC/OSU game coming up. That should be awesome. SC's defense is just scary. |

SC's defense is just scary. | Jim Tressel released a press statement saying he would play very little if at all against OU on Saturday, and will be well rested and prepared to play the Trojans the following week. Also OSU's defense is rated higher than SC's, just so you know. |

It makes me happy that USC's whole team will be rested. |

#27 | | Registered User | The Vanderbilt win over South Carolina last night was pretty sweet...good start to the weekend.
Alabama's home opener is tomorrow against Tulane. Kind of bitter-sweet that we're suppose to stomp them in light of Gustav...it wasn't Katrina, but the team has lived in a hotel in Birmingham, AL for over a week now. But, despite that, after last weeks showing, Alabama could be amazing this year. Tuscaloosa is buzzing.
Miami-Florida has the potential to turn interesting.
And of course, I have to pull for Southern Miss to play an amazing game against Auburn...
Otherwise, boring week as far as I can tell. Thankfully the game's at home and I'm not stuck on the couch with unexciting games. Maybe some upsets? |

Oregon State at Penn State (maybe? The long shot of the two)
West Virginia at East Carolina
Who knows? |

| GT beat BC today.First half was a little rough, but we looked very solid in the second. The play of Josh Nesbitt gives me hope to our offense and our season. He looked good.

| .... And Washington loses to BYU on a BS 'excessive celebration' call. Nice one, refs. Really nice. Way to completely alter the outcome of the game. Quote:

OSU got lucky on a fumble and a punt return. |
