| Hi Liam,
My name is Laura, you can call me Lou though. I think your journal is great. So, what kind of guitar (s) do you play? |

Thanks for the comment on my journal (I'll give you one of those comment things for that!) I played a classical 3/4-sized guitar for about 3 years, acoustic for two years, and now electric for almost two years, so I've got a bit of variety here and there. I'm thinking of upgrading my electric guitar to some sort of an Ibanez model in about a year or two. It looks really cool though, I'll see if I can get a pic of it later.
For everyone who doesn't know, I'm moving to Canberra at the end of the year, probably November/December time.

| Thanks for the comment.
So what's it like playing a classical guitar? I've been playing acoustic for six years and the electric for one year. My electric is a Gibson Epiphone and my acoustic is a Yamaha.
Why are you moving? |

It's kinda quiet. You can't hear anything when you're playing for the kids at church. It's one we got for my first lessons when I was 7 or 8.
Gibson Epiphone... doesn't really ring a bell - do many famous guitarists use them? Most of the acoustic guitarists I know use Maton guitars. Are they any good?
My dad's in the army, so we get to move every 2-3 years.
Well, everyone, I now have bragging rights for today because I'm now the youngest person in my whole family to abseil a mountain I'll admit that I freaked out the first time I went down, and they had to pull me back up again, but then I got the hang of it, and Mum said tha I'd turned into a monster... I wouldn't stop doing it!

| Gibson is like one of the # 1 guitars out there; they're so totally awesome! What kind of an amp do you have? I've got a Peavy.
I assume you're in highschool. What grade? |

| yeah, I've got an Ashton GA10. I got it with the starter pack when I started playing the electric.
Yes, I am in high school, in the 9th grade. I'm doing the ACE system (Accelerated Christian Education), and I've finished all the Year 9 stuff, so I'm doing Year 10 work now.

That's great. So how long have you been home schooled? I've been home schooled all my life, and am in the eleventh grade. You're 15, right?

It's a pretty good guitar. I play pretty loud, and it's managed to cope with me.

Okay, so i went to school today, and church yesterday. I bought Hawk Nelson's newest album "Hawk Nelson Is My Friend" yesterday, and I can't stop listening to it. It's the first Hawk Nelson album I've bought, and I think it's awesome!
The Storm lost to the Warriors The Raiders were eliminated I'm moving at the end of November what else is going to make me cry?
