I know this is a christian guitar board...but im also a sports nut and i am starting a fantasy baseball league. I need about 2 or 3 more spots to fill.

The baseball league is taking shape nicely. Ive had some good response. Im
still looking for a few more openings. I am not sure when CBS will be on
line with the 2002 version of their baseball webpage but as soon as it..ill
have the league all set up. For the guys that know me...i like to run a very
active league with articles,previews,reviews,powerpolls,awards and all kinds
of good stuff. I am very excited about this league..i think it will be very
competitive and alot of fun especially with the new twist of playing 3
opponents a week. It has worked very well in my basketball leagues.

Each team plays 3 opponents a week
for 22 weeks....66 game season

Must start 1b,2b,c,3b,ss,of,of,of and one extra outfielder and infielder
Total of 10
Must start a total of 8 pitchersEach team must start One reliever/closer)
18 active players---each roster will have 27players..27 round Draft

You play 3 opponents a week.
Lets say Team Dirt plays Teams Ducks,Team Hens,Team Chickens. Dirt scores
210,Ducks score 208,Hens score 188,Chickens score 197. Dirt goes 3-0 that
week because he outscored all 3 of his opponents. The key is to rack up as
many points as you can. If Dirt outscored 2 of the team...he would go 2-1
for that week.

SCORING
Batting

1 point for a walk
1 point for single
2 points for double
3 points for triple
4 points for Homers
1 point for run
1 point for rbi
2 points for stolen base
-1 point for a strike out
8 pts for GrandSlam

Pitching
1 point for inning pitched
1 point for a strikeout
8 points for a save
8 points for a win
10 points for quality Start(6 ip or more pitched,3 or less ER)
10 points for shutout
-1/2 point for walk
-1/2 point for Hit
-2 points for Blown Save
5 points for a relief win
-1 point for earned run

Great Game
Bonds 3-5,2 doubles,homer,2runs,4rbi=16pts
normal game
Ichiro 2-5,sb,run=7pts
bad game
Arod 0-4,2K= -2 pts

Pitchingscoring is based on basically how well a pitcher pitches...he can
still score alot of points even if he dosent get a win)
Great game
Randy Johnson 8ip,6hits,1er,1bb,11K,W,QS=32.5: (24.5pts without a
win,32.5pts with a win)
good game
Mike Mussina 7ip,8hits,2bb,3er,7K,QS:=(16pts without a win,24pts with a win)
bad game
Randy Wolf 5ip,10hits,4er,4bb,5K,W=(7pts with a win, -1 point without a win)
Reliever
Mariano Rivera 1ip,0h,1bb,0er,2K,S=10.5pts

Ya know, I think it'd be a lot easier if we started a league on Sportsline.com, or another free Fantasy game. Free is good, and not everyone on here has $75 and AOL instant messanger.
