Ibanez SZ320

Greetings, this is my first post rating a guitar. I am so impressed with this guitar it would be an injustice not to rate it here!

Product:
Ibanez SZ320

Price:
Used / $218 shipped to my door. New price just dropped a couple weeks ago, thye can be bought new for $399.00 now.

Experience:
I have been playing for about 2 years now. I play alot of rhythm and the occasional solo riff inbetween choruses/verses. Style ranges from rock to metal.

Features:
Duncan/Ibanez pickups come stock, and they are excellent. This guitar has a good variety of sounds as is. It has a carved top, mahogany i believe, rosewood fretboard, abalone dot inlays. It only has one volume control and 2 tone knobs. I wish it had independant volume for each humbucker, but it's not unreasonable.

Sound:
Beautiful sound. The clean channel is very warm and has a great tonal range. It plays well distorted too, the bridge humbucker has alot of punch. 9 out of 10 times I am playing in drop D when rhythming on a distorted channel and it's never failed to deliver crunchy/punchy non-muddy tone.

Playability:
Has a fat neck, it feels like gripping a LP. Unlike most other Ibanez guitars, the neck is not thin and "fast". It seems like it was made to feel like a LP or PRS.

Reliability:
So far the only issue has been my 3-way toggle cutting out intermittently on the two rear settings. The bridge pickup setting never cuts out, but I lose my 2-humbucker and bridge HB setting. Thats about it. Everything else is still nice, shiny, working and tight.

Overall:
I would highly recommend it for the price. I was actually saving up for a Epiphone LP (the $550 range ones) but this Ibanez has surpassed the Epiphone LP in terms of sound and craftsmanship. I knew the LP's had problems with little things coming loose on them (like frets coming loose, knobs coming off, etc.) but I wanted something better than my GSA60
