Shakespeare is my all time favorite. He was a genius. sometimes it gets depressing though because he likes to kill everyone off... like in Hamlet.. the ending scene is basically just everyone dying, one by one. *L*

I haven't been in a big production in almost two years- I've been way too busy pursuing other things. but I'm gonna try out for a production in a few weeks, so wish me luck! I REALLY want to get in.

Hey! I played the Queen in Once Upon a Matress and I had to wear this humungous curly black wig. It was a riot! Fun role!!!

Cool Acting

Yup, the Queen is an awsome role! My favorite part was the hole monolouge on "Well how can you say such a thing I want you to get married just this morning I was saying to your father...." What was your favorite part as the queen?

well I did a bunch of acting when I was still at school...I was in a school that had a special arts package with more intensive training...it was so awesome...the only thing that i miss about not being there still. We put on so many productions each year that you had to choose which to audition for, the musical, Sears Festival, or Shakespeare. we would also do a contemporary play ever year and then there was drama nite twice a year with skits etc. and improv group which met once a week and a variety show (Gala) every year...it was amazing

It was amazing...specialized classes with others who were also artistically minded and motivated with teachers who were there to do everything they could to help you...besides all that stuff, there was normal extra-ciriculars that happened too....wow

but you were still in a normal school so there are sports and acedemics and all sorts of non-artsy people.

I'm majoring in English and Theatre. :-) I've been acting most of my life--some of the plays I've been involved with include A Midsummer Night's Dream, James and the Giant Peach, The Storytellers, The Importance of Being Earnest, Bye Bye Birdie, The Search, Speak No Evil, and Dracula. I've also done forensics and played in pit orchestras; I currently am the artistic director of a small student-run theatre company at the University of Michigan called Thunder's Whisper. Right now I'm on spring break and since one of my friends from Thunder's Whisper is a film major, I'm acting in her movie, which has been a really interesting experience. :-)

OMG, i love OUAM! Great musical. We did it @ my school a few years back and this friend of mine was the prince...he had these purple tights...it was fun. I still tease him about that.
