| I've seen a few episodes. Mostly the only thing I watch on BBC is Gordon Ramsay. Anyway, it's popular enough that an American version is on it's way across the Atlantic.

| Top Gear is hilarious, I am a big fan of British 'humour." I have grown to dislike the show, though, due to their (mostly Clarkson's) British arrogance and general dislike for the U.S. I mean.....how many quality car companies does England have these days (that aren't owned by another country)?
I think that Jay Leno would be the perfect host if this comes over here. |

I would check it out with Leno hosting. |

Any publicity good or bad would do them some good. |

| I found out they are going to do an Australian Version too. I'm a bit skeptical because i'm so used to the British one. |

I hope it doesn't turn into a hour long Holden and Ford advertisement as Australian cars shows tend to do. I realise that they are integral brands in the Australian car market, but top gear has always been about the best cars money can buy, dream cars. e.g. Ferrari, Lamborghini, Zonda and etc.
And while I like some Holdens and Australian Fords, none of them would be on my list of dream cars.
With that in mind, if I don't like the first episode of Australian Top Gear I will strike it from my memory, and pretend there is no such thing as an Australian version, because the original british Top Gear already has everything I could ever want from a car TV show.
Also, Top Gear without Jeremy, Richard, James and The Stig just seems... Wrong.
