| Matt Pryor = Greatest Musician Still Working Here's why:
The Get Up Kids - Four Minute Mile (1997)
The Get Up Kids - Something to Write Home About (1999)
The New Amsterdams - Never You Mind (2000)
The Get Up Kids - On a Wire (2002)
The New Amsterdams - Para Toda Vida (2002)
The New Amsterdams - Worse for the Wear (2003)
The Get Up Kids - Guilt Show (2004)
The New Amsterdams - Killed or Cured (2005)
The New Amsterdams - Story Like a Scar (2006)
The New Amsterdams - At the Foot of My Rival (2007)
The Terrible Twos - If You Ever See an Owl (2007)
The Terrible Twos - Jerzey the Giant (2008)
Solo Material - Confidence Man (2008)
He makes music. I have no idea why Linkin Park was bragging about it took 14 months to put out their last album. That's really embarrassing. Almost as embarrassing as actually listening to them...

| Um...just because someone's prolific does not make them great. I do love me some The Get Up Kids, especially Four Minute Mile, but I don't care too much for a lot of the other albums there... |

| When I think of artist that put out a lot of music, names like Paul McCartney and Elvis Costello come to mind.
And The New Amsterdams got to where the GUK couldn't. Put aside the electric guitars and Matt is still solid.

| You're seriously comparing Matt Pryor with Paul McCartney and Elvis Costello?
For that matter, Elvis Costello just put out a new album this year, so he would certainly give Matt Pryor a run for the title... |

| 13 albums in 11 years = greatest musician still working?
Josh Freese has contributed to over 200 albums in the last 20 or so years...
It's also probably worth mentioning that when you're writing songs for multiple projects, things do get "easier" in terms of being able to go into a writing situation with different writing mentalities in mind. |

| The New Amsterdams were really terrible starting out. They didn't get alot better. I'm a huge Get Up Kids fan (up to about 1999).

| I like Matt's songwriting a lot and both the Get Up Kids and The New Amsterdams are among my favorite bands. That said, being prolific hardly makes him the "greatest musician still working". Not by a longshot. And including his children albums and that rather hum-drum new solo record aren't helping your case. Quote: |

| Prolific does not necessarily equal Greatest.
Bob Dylan is still making music so...um...yeah.
