| Last Night's Hernandez vs. Hollman Match. Anyone else catch last night's exhibition? I have to say, for a fight with very little world rankings significance, there was a lot of passion, particularly on Hernandez's part.
Hernandez definitely defended his #1 opinion-poll ranking, even with the cut-totals loss--I think his style is just more suited to an alternative scoring system, such as Sum Blood Loss, especially considering the massive diagonal slash across Hollman's chest.
The streaker at 2:53 of the third round was pretty awesome, too.

| It was definitely a controversial decision, which may lead to some changes from the UKFA. |

| I hope so--there's absolutely no way Hernandez would've lost if they'd been real assailants fighting to the death on the ocean floor, and yet because they were playing under pansy exhibition scoring, a rule-rider like Hollman is named the winner even though (according to the post-game show) he'll be hospitalized for at least a month, with a five-month convalescence timetable.

This match definitely showed a deficiency in the scoring system that will have to be addressed. It will be interesting to see how Hollman will adjust. As much as I dislike his style, he is well known for using the rules to his advantage. |

Make sure to bring your membership card if you want to check it out for the weekend or whatever. |
