Ground Beef recipes

I have a lot of ground beef that I need to use and I'm looking for some recipes.

Quite frankly I'm getting sick of hamburgers and spaghetti with ground beef meat sauce.

My culinary vocabulary is limited, but I REALLY enjoy cooking and I like almost every type of food, and I'm open to try anything outrageous (as outrageous as ground beef can get).

Does anybody have any good recipes?

Well, for starters, you can make chili and sloppy joes. You can also add ground beef to mac and cheese (or even better, brown up the beef, then mix it with a can of tomatoes and a can of cream of celery soup and some cheese and then put it with macaroni).

This is a delicious and unusual recipe I found on allrecipes once:

I'm sure you can find a lot more on allrecipes too.

PLUS, you can all sorts of different hamburgers. Try making hamburgers patties with sun-dried tomatoes mixed in to the meat, and then topped with grilled pineapple slices and a blend of swiss with cream cheese. Yum!

even better... macaroni on burgers awesome.

Tacos are always awesome... just throw some hot sauce, liquid smoke, and... I forgot what else I put in it, but you could probably wing it!

MEAT-LOAF. I make it with out measuring anything--but you really can't mess it up to bad. Let's say 2 lb of ground beef, 1 can diced stewed tammotoes (I like mexican, but italian would work) several eggs (I would use 2 whole and seperate out say 2 egg whites) 1 cup of oatmeal (you can just tear up a few pieces of use bread as well or use bread crumbs--I'm telling you, you can't mess up meatloaf), maybe a diced onion, a can of tammatoe sause or BBQ sauce or tiger sauce, plenty of salt and pepper, maybe some garlic salt, ya know, how ever you like things seasoned. Bake at 300 for an hour or so. Goes great with smashed taters and corn.

If you don't feel comfortable winging it, I'm sure you can find a recipe on line, but I make this for six guys on the boat I work on several times a month and have never seen a meat loaf recipe.

Lasagne, moussaka, scotch eggs, stuffed peppers, arancini, mince pie, shepherd's pie, enchiladas.

Just do a google search for some recipes.

You could always just experiment as well.
