| I think I had a fairly common first job for a kid. I had a paper route but I hated it. It seemed to take forever to do and carrying all the papers seemed to make the time drag that much more. They were heavy and some days it was so hot outside.
What I found the worst though was a lot (not all) people were set in their ways about when exactly they expected there newspaper and if they didn`t have it at that time they would meet you at the door and make sure you knew they were not impressed.
That job did not last long. I enjoyed babysitting much more and I did that for quite a while after this ended. |

| I talked to this guy about a job... he said I would get paid vacations, all of these cool benefits and college money, get to travel to exotic faraway locations and stay on resorts, eat food fit for kings, be able to remain physically fit...
and now I am in Aghanistan.. what the heck?..
Nah, I'm kidding.. I knew what i was getting into.. I actually love what I do..
This actually can't even be considered a job.. more life a lifestyle..
it's what I want to do... beats working at Old Navy.. that job sucked..
I don't even shop there.. standing around folding clothes all day... no thank you lol
I'd rather be running around with an M4 and flying on helicopters |

| I worked for a month for a grass-mowing dude. He charged Kroger's and Wal-Marts $50.00/hr to take care of their lots... mostly picking up trash, mowing, and trimming those miles and miles of curbs and ginormously ridiculously steep/long embankments. Only he would sit on the mower for 2 hours and make me pick up all the trash, and trim the curbs and embankments, and then wonder why I wasn't done when he was done. He paid me $10.00/hr and reimbursed me for gas if he felt like it. Then I quit and became a delivery driver for a pizza place, where I actually made a lot of money and enjoyed it (as much as you can enjoy a job at a fast food joint). |

| I worked as a telemarketer for a month. I quit when they told us to do something illegal in order to make sales.

| Wild Adventures Theme Park. I was the sign department. I was not allowed to use my creativity to make the signs I had to type square font letters into a computer and cut vinyl and stick it on sign board. Mostly stuff like: No Smoking, Enter, Exit, Restrooms, and other boring things. I got free admission to the park and never even rode on any of the rides. I went to 2 concerts there - The Oakridge Boys at Christmastime and KC and the Sunshine Band. The Oakridge boys stunk BTW. KC was fantastic!
The job I'm now working will most likely end up being my worst though. I work with fools. |

| I'm working it right now. I'm a delivery guy for Boston Pizza and sometimes the dishwasher. I've had far better jobs, but believe it or not, I make ok money here, with tips and gas reimbursement.

| I was a phlebotomist for 3 years. I'd walk into the room and kids would burst out crying. Great for the self-esteem.
