| Versus: Hulk vs. Superman Me and my roommate were arguing about this. I said the Hulk, because he has limitless power and his regenerative abilities are at the same levels of like wolverine. |

| They've battled before but I can't recall much of anything. At base level I'm pretty sure Superman is stronger. Assuming Hulk is pissed enough to have the strength advantage then he still has to contend with Superman's speed and flight. Hulk is at a disadvantage in this one.

| Hulk is like the second most powerful character in the Marvel universe, second to Sentry i believe? In World War Hulk he beat Black Bolt (although it was an alien copy of him), Iron Man, X-Men, Avengers, Fantastic Four, and finally he takes on Sentry which results in a draw i guess. I feel like if he can take on all those people he' be able to handle just Superman, right? |

| Well, what it comes down to is the old question: would Superman get angry enough to just toss Hulk right into the sun or just into a cometary orbit? Hulk still has to breathe, and would probably last against the cold long enough to asphyxiate. |

| I'm going to assume that we're talking about the current Superman and not the pre-Crisis Superman that routinely threw planets around.
Honestly, I still have to give this one to Superman. Hulk has potentially limitless strength, but Superman has a random grab-bag filled with awesome superpowers. Heat vision, super-breath, super-speed, and flight are all on Superman's list. The Hulk cannot compare. |

| Agreed with Skeeter. I do like Akshay's case from the recent World War Hulk mini-series, but I do think that his power levels there were ridiculous. I don't care how angry the Hulk is, he can't take down the entire Marvel Universe, especially with a rational mind intact (as it was in WWH). |

| WWH feels like they tried to Batmanize the Hulk. What I mean is that Batman used to just be the world's greatest detective, with a healthy dose of martial arts know-how and a smattering of engineering ability. Gradually, he became the guy that could beat anyone in the DC universe given a little time to think about it. The Hulk was originally a guy whose anger turned him into a rampaging monster; yes, he was strong, but not so strong that Wolverine or the Thing or any of his other strength-based adversaries couldn't give him a run for his money. He has since become a character with power limited only by his anger (madder he gets, stronger he gets) who could potentially defeat anyone in the Marvel universe if the moron got him angry enough.
I mean, I love Batman, I really do, but I'm not a fan of the indefatigable hero he's become. Neither am I a fan of the undefeatable Hulk. It's just not all that interesting to me. |

| I think Superman vs. Thanos would be a lot more interesting.

| On Superman vs. Hulk, what if Clark was smart enough not to tick off Bruce?

"Tails flies away, but the Link hookshots him, beats him with the magic hammer, boomerangs him in the head, bombs him, freezes him and then lights him on fire, creates blocks to through at him, shoots him with arrows, and then whacks him with the master sword. That's one heck of a bat belt that Link has there. Link advances." (From the Video Game Showdown) |
