#1 | | Taster of Pork! | How often do you eat fast food? I've been wondering how often people eat fast food. I try to do my best and eat it once a week and getting plenty of exercise. So, any takers?

It's been 20 years at least since I've been to a Taco Bell or Burger King. |

What is fast food possibly doing to our nation that lack of idiocy and a better understanding of what a diet is wouldnt cure?
That said, i single handedly keep the Jack-in-the-Box down the street in business.

We eat fast food probably one to two times a month at most (even if you count healthier places like Subway and the like).
In general, Jer, watching the food you eat everyday instead of the food you only eat infrequently (once a week) will do more for your health. How much of your food is freshly made? How much is pre-packaged and processed? Processed foods are less harmful, but more subtle. Eating nothing but Hamburger Helper, canned soup, and HotPockets isn't deadly, but really isn't any more healthy for you than eating nothing but fast food would be. A fresher, greener, more varied everyday diet will do more than switching from, let's say, two days of fast food to one.

| Due to food quality, & how they do business, the only fast food places we ever eat are In n' Out & Jimmy John's. (Grilled Cheese, and a #6 please).
We only go to those a few times a month.

| Almost never. There are only a few options I can eat, anyway, so it's usually a late night after work when I don't have the energy to prepare something for myself (and/or the grocery store is closed) that I pick up fast food. I don't like to spend money on fast food, either (even though it's "so cheap!" with the "dollar menus!") - the price I pay, personally, is regretting it later and my body feeling like crap - because that's exactly what I put into it.
Every once in a while, when I'm at work, I'll get a no-butter pretzel from Auntie Anne's, though. Considering my other options (I work in a mall) - Sbarro, Chinese, etc., I'd say it's a fairly healthy, inexpensive option (seeing as the smoothies at the smoothie shop are upwards of $4). |

| We probably eat fast food 5 times per week during lazy season. When we have specific fitness goals, that drops down to around once per week, but we'll get the healthier options. |

| I usually eat fast food about once a week, and it's usually Subway or Chickfila, which are on the healthier end of the fast food spectrum.

#9 | | Algebraic! | I've been trying to cut back on my "eating out" frequency. My wife and I are trying to eat out no more than four times a month simply because eating out (whether it's fast food or a sit-down place) is expensive. When we visit our parents we sometimes eat out, but usually our parents will pick up the tab.
FWIW, the typical sit-down place isn't that much better for you than fast food...of course this depends on your food choices. |

| Average would probably be once a fortnight. Of course that can be a lot more if I'm waiting around the train station hungry a lot. |

| When I was in school... Nearly every day. Our cafeteria was gross.
When I was on tour... Nearly every day. Really no other choice when you're in a van for 6-8 hours.
Now that I'm back home, I've cut out fast food entirely. So it's been almost a month since I've had something fast food. |

Fast food, and condoms, make immorality (gluttony, in the case of fast food) easy and "cheap." This, while not immoral in and of itself, is harmful to the overall spiritual and physical health of our nation, which was what the question asked.

| Far too often lately! I usually try to keep it to once a week at most, but I've been really slack lately.
