Nashville, Tenn., January 14, 2001 - Multi-Platinum, multi-GRAMMY and Dove Awards winning band Jars of Clay will premiere its first pay-per-view concert Sunday, March 3 at 8:00 p.m. EST. Entitled Jars of Clay - The Eleventh Hour Concert, the event will be a part of a ONE NIGHT ONLY SM series pay-per-view event. Celebrating the release of their first new album in almost two and a half years, Jars of Clay will debut music from The Eleventh Hour for the exclusive two hour special, as well as feature the hits that have garnered 13 No. 1 songs and more than 5 million albums sold.

Fans who order the Jars of Clay - The Eleventh Hour Concert on pay-per-view will be treated to a preview of the highly anticipated new recording from Jars of Clay, The Eleventh Hour, which releases two days after the pay-per-view event (March 5). The full production, live concert special will be recorded in Nashville at the Gaylord Entertainment Center Annex January 16 with encore performances on pay-per-view available for at least 30-days following its March 3 debut. Reaching 45 million households on pay-per-view services throughout North America, the special will be featured on iN DEMAND, DIRECTV, EchoStar, TVN, Cablevision and Canada.

Jars of Clay - The Eleventh Hour Concert producers, Essential Records and Rendy Lovelady Management, combine marketing forces for the program with Spring Communications II LLC., the industry leader in pay-per-view concerts and special events. Spring’s unique marketing has a history, documented by University of Houston research, of increasing product sales from 20 to 38+ percent for participating performers and sponsors. Fifty of its pay-per-view concerts and special events generated more than $350 million in measured promotional media in 1997-2001.

The joint marketing campaign includes an aggressive combination of advertising, radio, retail, publicity and grassroots efforts. Over 70 million homes will view the advertising campaign alone. Produced by Jars of Clay and mixed by Jack Joseph Puig (Black Crowes, Green Day, No Doubt, Barbra Streisand), The Eleventh Hour is a collection of emotionally charged anthems centered around the concept of human longing. I see what you're doing with these on the new version of the site, Mickey... I assume you're seeing the same problems I am when they are "in use" in the new design?

It'll be awesome for people who have never had the opportunity to see the Jars in concert and for seasoned concert-goers like me to watch them from the comfort of our own homes. This event and the release of their new album (which, i must say, is EXCELLENT) and DVD makes the first week in March a very exciting time.

Yes, the "crunching". It looks un-professional to me (but we never claimed to be!). Just looks messy that way. Surely there is a way to wrap the text around the picture...

That's the way that the portal software was written, because it was designed for tiny little graphics. However, I think I've got it working better now. Let me know what you think.

Lookin' good now....how'd you fix it?

It was written where it would make the message part into two separate cells in a table - a cell on the left for the text, and a cell on the right for the graphic. I re-wrote some of the code to merge them into one cell, and then set the graphic to right-justify.

It seems odd that it wasn't written like that to begin with...
