Swing Dancing

I recently ventured into the realm of swing dancing, and I love it! I figured it might be nice to have a thread where fellow CGRers can share youtube vids and such or any advice that might be of use to fellow swing dancers =)

I had to learn for my sisters wedding 6 years ago.

I love swing dancing! I'm going tomorrow night actually. I started going last summer and got hooked.

I really want to learn to Lindy (real 8 count lindy, not the 6 count/east coast swing).

Funny you say that. I was actually taught the 8 step Lindy this past Tuesday....of course I have to figure out how it works with a partner, but at least I have a sort of understanding of how my part goes =D

I'm gonna try and get someone to teach me and my partner 8 count tomorrow. I haven't really got into this areas swing scene as much as I was in the one back home, so it might be hard to find someone, but we'll see.

Good luck on getting taught that =D I hope you guys get it figured out! I actually worked on it some more last night (as well as a couple new drops) so I was pretty happy about that.
