UPDATE: I no longer work at ruby tuesdays, I quit them back in March, when I started working at a local Chick Fil A. I will be moving into a manager position here shortly, probably within the next two months or so.

I am a Director at a Medical Center/hospital. You should all become RN's and move to the Central Valley of California. We start new RN's at $34.00/hr. [/shameless recruitment]

RNs are in demand everywhere. Grand Rapids has several medical centers going up as we speak (they called it "Medical Mile") and all the nursing programs at the schools around here are booming - they can't fill positions fast enough!

I'm an audio engineer at a small studio in Nashville doing vocal recordings for telephony purposes (thank you for calling _____, we are unable to take your call right now, please press 1 etc.), and I'm an (unpaid) intern at a studio that records music. I also work as a pharmacy tech, and I am completing an AA online.

I also take random live sound jobs when they're available. I'm more than a little busy.

I'm now working part-time as a freelance writer. Hopefully by next fall I'll have lined up a decent internship somewhere. I've pretty much decided to stick with freelance writing unless an unbelievably good work study job comes along.

Full-time hyperlocal — to use an industry buzzword — journalist. Sometimes it is wonderful, sometimes it makes me crazy.

Underwear model. But I supplement my lack of income as an underwear model by being a Service Plumber.

I'm back at Ruby Tuesdays, about 20 Hours a week. I put in around 60-65 a week volunteering as a firefighter/EMT and taking classes for the same. Looking into opening a hose and ladder testing franchise here in the next year maybe.

services rep for an IT company.

technically it's a 40 hour/week job, but some weeks it's more like 50-60 hours. it's pretty flexible, though. wednesday i worked 7:30-5, thursday i worked 8:45-7, and friday i worked 8:45-3:45. every day is different, as long as i get my work done and feel good about the hours i put in throughout the week.
