I'm a captain on a 175 foot fast supply boat in the gulf of mexico taking supplies to the offshore oil rigs. Cool job but I am gone alot--I work 28 on the boat and then have 14 days off to do what ever I want. Mostly hang with my kids, play guitar, skateboard, the gym etc. My 12 year old son works the sound booth at our church and will soon be doing tech stuf for the t.v. service our church does--cool experience for a kid.

I am currently working at an on-campus job here at school.... I'll be looking for something better in the near future...

And within the year, I plan to be in the high velocity aluminum tube business.

I am a swing shift manager at a mcdonalds, where I have happily spent the last almost 4 years. I make $9.20 an hour, have the reputation of one of the hardest workers, and get 40 hours whenever I come back from college. plus working with all my brazilian coworkers, cause brazilians are so cool! couldn't be happier!

During the school year, I work as an information desk attendant at school, basically selling beverages and giving directions to students. During the summer months, as well as sometimes during the school year, I do freelance work in the form of writing and web development. I'm pretty happy with both jobs.

I take odd jobs for my step dad and his brother. My step dad paints and pressure cleans, and my uncle pours concrete. I am starting an architectural drafting program at our local community college, and hope to find a job doing that in the near future.

Cleaning ministry?

I am assistant manager for a small espresso bar (by the way, Savannah, my boss almost called your company about making a machine for us, but decided he wanted to look into Illys instead for a new shop we're opening soon). My hours are crappy right now. I'm currently considering a number of other options: cars (sales), offshore (messenger boat), or hobo (surely I can come up with a good sob story).

I am currently an intern at Christian Reformed Home Missions, an agency of the Christian Reformed Church that supports mission-focused ministries and church plants within the CRC through grants and technical support. I am with the Advancement Team which is the fund raising/marketing arm of the agency.

It is a perfect fit for my career aspirations which are in fund raising for nonprofit organizations.

The internship could lead to part-time donor relations and grant writing work in the fall as I finish my degree and then full-time employment after that. Good deal.

I'm a Technical Drafter and Lab Technician for a small telecommunications consulting group. We do a lot of work associated with telecom backup batteries/BBUs.

I also do other contracted drafting work on the side like patent drawings and technical assembly drawings accompanied by assembly procedures (technical writing).
