mean friends

ok, this is all in my journal, but i'll just kinda explain quickly.

one day, my friends were throwing cream cheese at me.

another day, they were smearing pudding on me.

two days later, they decided to make beating me up a sport. even though only one of them participated. she was digging her nails into my nad and kept punching me and gave me an indian burn(aka snake bite). this person is only mean to me around the two meanest people in that group.

I have one really good freind, who is also having problems about one of the meanest two. she is really nice.

what do I do?

I really dont want to tell an adult.

please help me.

Why are you calling these people your friends? Quit hanging out with them.

Those kids are not your friends. Find you some real friends, not people who want you around just so they can make fun of you.

And, I totally get the not wanting to tell an adult thing, but you hve to! You must tell an adult right away. Talk to your parents first, then talk to a teacher. If that doesnt work, talk to the next highest authority figure, like a counselor or an asistant principal. If that doesnt work, go to the principal, or get the LE involved and press charges.

They've both got it. You have one good friend you said? Then hang around that one good friend. If the both of you are having problems, then you two probably wont have too much of a problem with leavin' the group of "friends" who are making it their purpose to humiliate and hurt you.

I have been on both sides of the fence. I have been the one getting bullied, and also I have been the bully. And let me tell you, you might want to think of these people as your friends, but they aren't thinking of you as one.

But count your blessings! You have at least one good friend, and you will always have Jesus. I know it sounds cliche, but thats what got me through the latter part of highschool.

I cant hang out with her everyday tho, she goes home for lunch. and theres a couple more good friends in that gruop 2... and I know i should tell a teacher... and telling my parents is kinda... well.. if i told my mom she would not allow me to hang out with any of them anymore and I still have a couple good freinds there... and I wouldnt know which teacher to tell... and the counselors are stupid and dont help... and the vice principals are stupid and dont know anything... and the principal is one of the mean ones freinds dad... which would just be weird...

Not at all. Nevertheless this is our advice.

You have a few options.

1) Do nothing. Continue with what is happening.
2) Stop hanging out with them, whether you have other friends or not.
3) Tell an adult of some kind.

There is probably a couple more, thats all I can think of at any rate.

No matter what you decide to do, you should pray about it. Only God can work on the heart of those kids.

Just remember 2 Timothy 4:16-17. God will be with you in every situation.
