| Starcraft 2 So I'm really excited about SC 2 after 10 years of waiting. It should finally be coming in the next year. . . http://www.starcraft2.com/
Anyone else?

| It'll probably be great. Blizzard is a top notch developer.

Its kind of funny, that they'll sell the preorder without knowing when it will be released.

Although, I think I preordered my copy late 2007. Like, september or something. I dunno.

| I really don't see the need in pre-ordering a game, unless the game comes with something you otherwise would not receive from just buying the game. |

And he/she will be all like, "Word, foo!" And I will get five speeding tickets on the way home so I can install it, spend a few hours running through the new campaigns, and then subsequently pwning n00bs on t3h interwebz while everyone else in the united states is still waiting for more copies to come in so they can pay their feeble moneys for one.

Including Halo 3. |

| I think it's funny though that it is the big play of electronic retail stores and gaming companies to advertise for 'pre-ordering' a game ahead of time to "secure your copy". As if it's ever been an issue before. |

As if it's ever been an issue before. | Quite honestly that could be the main reason that they don't run out. If they had no idea of how many people to expect than they can order to little, and it will sell out. But if 100 people preorder from the store, they can just order 150 copies, to meet the preorders, and with an expectation of a bunch of others who probably want it.
Thats hypothetical though.
I like the new terran unit that can be land and air. It could be good, but then again the tradeoff with versatility could be that is very weak. . . Has anyone else looked at the units?

#14 | | Cool enough Administrator | Some games, pre-ordering is a serious issue around where I live. The good Nintendo exclusives, Halo, Rock Band, Guitar Hero... a lot of games are very hard to find in the first week. |

Knowing my friends, when we all get our copies and have a tournament between us, SOMEONE is going to think up a strategy using them just because we all love Robotech and those remind us so much of Veritech Fighters.
