Thats hypothetical though.

I like the new terran unit that can be land and air. It could be good, but then again the tradeoff with versatility could be that is very weak. . . Has anyone else looked at the units?
You may not understand the position the stores are in. With GTA: san andreas, GTA 4, halo 2, halo 3 and a few other huge titles, the store only gets so many copies, say, 100 on the first day. If 110 people preorder, 10 people have to wait along with the other 250 walkins that day until the next shipment comes in (usually that thursday after the tuesday release). The store could have ordered 150, but the distributor and/or publisher had to limit the amount of copies per store that could go out.

On the day of release, you couldnt find GTA 4 at any gamestop in denver if you didnt preorder. I was only interested in gamestop due to the fact I was trading in my old xbox (with an additional $30 trade in credit coupon!) for it, and didnt preorder. Best buy or another big box might have had it, but bestbuy also dosnt do preordering IIRC.

I'm excited mostly for the huge multiplayer battle brawls. Armies of 200 colliding with one another.

I'd like to point out that I've had difficulty getting my hands on (or it least know people who have) on the Nintendo exclusives... unless you pre-order them, its hard to get a copy of the new Mario games, S.S.B's, Mario Kart, etc.. So I think there is a point in pre-ordering them. EDIT: Yet I do think that location and other factors can play a role..

Okay, so I don't sound that stupid: I know of Starcraft, I know a lot of people who play it, but I've never actually witnessed or played it myself, but it sounds like a lot of fun. What exactly is it?

Real-time (as opposed to turn-based) strategy game. Pretty much all other RTS games are compared to this one.

I'm excited about it as well. I probably played more hours of Starcraft than I can remember.

I just looked at some gameplay and I might look into getting the new one..I've actually always been a big fan of RTS's, like Command and Conquer and others...

the day of the release, Amazon will deliver it to my door. well, UPS will deliver it to my door on Amazon's behest.

The best news is that it will be available for Mac.

Haha, nice. I rushed out to gamestop like the second I learned it was available to preorder, so I'm locked into that, but its no big deal. I can go pick it up. Hopefully it will be worth the wait... :/
