So for all of you who were waiting for GAG to make a journal, here you go.

Ummm, well, I don't really know what to say right now so go ahead and ask me questions....

EDIT: I also write poetry and I have a thread filled with it in the Members Literature section if anyone wants to check that out. I've been playing piano for 8 years and writing peotry/songs since I was about 6 or 7. I'm just learning how to play bass, and I've recently picked up two new hobbies: skateboarding and breakdancing.

Now I sound like a total tomboy. Oh well.

I have TONS of favorite bands. Right now I'm really into August Burns Red, Chasing Victory, and Skillet.

I started watching "Mr. and Mrs. Smith"....I couldn't make it past about 15 minutes in.
It's alot better than my other one....and did you want me to research basses for you?
I think it's just because I'm forgetful.

So, you play the piano, thats great. when I was about 15 we had a piano in our house and I would "bang" on it all the time. I picked out about 30 or 40 songs by ear, but just the one note versions. So much so that my mom told me one day when I was fooling around on it that she and my dad had decided that they would pay for me to take lessons if I wanted to take them. I had just bought my first guitar about 3 months before that and told her that I did'nt want to take piano lessons, but that wanted to take guitar lessons instead. well, she said that they wouldn't pay for those, but again offered to pay for piano lessons. I declined the offer and went to my room and pulled out my guitar and practiced it for about two hours like I usually did everyday.
I now realize that I made a huge mistake in turning down the oppertunity to learn to play the piano. I sure wish that I had taken the lessons now. I remained very dedicated to learning to play the guitar though and have become pretty good as a rhythem guitar player. do you and or did you take lessons? when you write songs do you usually write the music first and come up with the words later, or do you discover that you have a mellody and words in your head and sit down at the piano and find the music to go with it? I use both methods and probably go each way about 50/50.
also, I had asked you how old tou are and you did not answer, but asksd me how old I thought that you looked. if that is a picture of your eyes on your page, then I would guess about nineteen. you have pretty eyes and hair. I especially like the eyebrows

Yeah you really should have taken lessons. So do you still play the guitar?
I've been playing piano since second grade. It changes for me. Sometimes I'll be writitng a song and I'll just go over to the piano and come up with a melody for it (but I normally have an idea in my head while I was writing the lyrics). And then sometimes I'll be sitting at the piano and I'll just start playing and I will start singing and writing down the words.

I guess I'll tell you how old I am

I'm 15. I should probably write that in my first post.....
Most people think I'm 18 or 19 anyways before they know my age.

My day has actually been pretty good so far. My parents are leaving today to go on a trip and they'll be back on thursday, so I'm home babysitting my little sister.
Prayer for their safety would be appreciated.
