Robert Dilts

Anybody ever read "The Cognitive Patterns of Jesus of Nazareth," "Epistemology of Jesus of Nazareth," or "The Healing Patterns of Jesus?" It's neuro-linguistic programming, right? What is it actually about? Is it any good? Just seems interesting to me as I've came across it on a search on the net.

Self-help stuff discredited shortly after its introduction several decades ago. Later revived by none other than Tony Robbins. Dilts's books aren't worth reading because they're wrong and culturally irrelevant. If you're looking for something comparable but still culturally influential try Og Mandino or Joel Osteen.

Joel Ostenn... at first I saw Joel Olseen and got scared for a minute.
