What is a referral??

Question What is a referral??
Ok... under my profile, it says I have 1 referral.... WHAT does that mean? Is that something when a new user registers that they can put down if someone told them to come? If so.... can I find out who exactly I referred?

Sorry to ask such a weird question..... but it's been bugging me for quite some time now.

I think it somehow automatically give you one referral. This is all in the FAQ if you would've bothered to look for it... It's a LINK that you can give people that includes your poster ID and gives you a referral when someone uses it.

Yeah, i have one referral........i signed up under another screen name, and put that i had been referred by GzusPhreek2k.
