| NFL Draft Which team do you think got the steal of the draft this year? I like the Chiefs getting Glen Dorsey at number 5. I know it's way too early to actually make informed judgements (why wait for information ) but what's y'all feelings.
Results will certainly look different later (after all Tom Brady was selected like...#200 or something) but I'm a bit suprised by some of the QB picks so far. |

| I think this is the most boring draft in years. Also, I think the Raiders would have been better suited to take Dorsey rather than McFadden, just because he could replace Warren Sapp. |

| Im glad the Falcons grabbed Ryan.Idk if he'll be great immediately and i hope there arent too big expectations but i hope he does good in the long run.

McFadden is a great running back, sure, but the Raiders already had good depth at that position. McFadden may be an upgrade, but this is just another example of Al Davis going with the flashiest player on the board without giving a second thought to what might actually help his team the most. Even when he denied a week ago being interested in McFadden, citing the great depth they already have at the position, I don't think anyone believed him. It's just not his style to make reasonable draft choices.
I think the Chiefs had a great draft.
I love that Clady fell to my Broncos at 12, and I think all in all, I'm happy enough with our choices. |

McFadden is a good fit for the Raiders. They desperately need a running game.
Edit: The only way that the Raiders have depth at RB is that they have several RBs who are pretty mediocre. And sometimes, they are quite bad. |

| The Raiders have 4 other running backs who probably are good enough to start in the league. They ranked 6th in the league in rushing last year. They have far more desperate needs than another RB. |

McFadden has the potential to be a game changer for them, where as none of the others really are. I guess I underestimated their rushing game overall, but I feel like that number is deceptive.
Edit: Also note that Fargas, Jordan and Rhodes are all in their late 20's. McFadden is 20. He could be their starting HB for a very long time. |

| i think the giants got a great deal on manningham in the 3rd round. i also think washington did well in picking up malcolm kelly in the 2nd. i think kelly has the best hands of the recievers this year.

| I'm excited for New Orleans this year. Vilma, Sedrick Ellis, and Randall Gay should all help.

I might not be the best judge of what starter quality really is around the rest of the league. That being said, I still think that Bush has a lot of potential...that we will probably never see come to fruition now. |

It is hard to think of any part of their game as good when they lose so much. Anyhow, they released Rhodes today.
I think this draft was amazingly strong at QB and HB. A lot of very good players were taken in late rounds. |

| As I previously said, I'm a Saints fan, but I live in Minnesota so I guess the Vikings are probably my "other" favorite team. I've gotta say, I'm excited for them. They finally have a good pass rusher, a couple new guys in the secondary and maybe a good QB, too (Booty).

I'm hopeful for maybe an 8-8ish season. |
