I have been looking at learning the mandolin for a while now and I think I am finally coming to the point were I have the time. The only problem to this is that I have nothing to play on yet and thats were I hope you CGR peeps can help me out at.
I am looking for a good, starter mandolin around the max price of $150 maybe $200. I have only really looked into this one so far.
I had an Epiphone MM-30 that was an excellent instrument, I should have kept it but I needed the money when I upgraded to a more expensive F Style model.
My mom got me a Rogue for Christmas. It's a good starter. I bought an F-Style recently, a Johnson. I understand that the Epiphone's are Very good.
