I don't know about all of the members of the band but at least a couple of them used to (and maybe still do) attend Malibu Vineyard church.
Does that make them Christians? About as much as a going into a garage makes me a car but from having talked to people who know some of the guys in the band, it's safe to say that at least a couple guys are Christian.

The only original band member left is Jason Wade. I don't know if he goes to church currently. I wouldn't consider Lifehouse a "Christian band" simply because members may go to church. But I really appreciate the God-centeredness I personally find in their music, whether the band presents it as explicitly God-oriented or not..

No, but from what I've seen, their lyrics seem clean. So I definitely wouldn't consider them an offensive band.
