| So who else has received their copy?
I've listened to it 6 times through. Is that a little obsessive?
I'll wait to start discussing first thoughts once some more people give it a listen or two. |

| I've listened to it a few times (haven't had time to just sit and listen though)...
Spoilers
I definitely enjoy it. There are some really good spots on it, but it seems like there are fewer good spots than LOTHF. This is probably a bit exaggerated by the fact that I haven't been able to give it a real good listen though. |

| There are definitely a few songs that I personally would not have put on the album...but they probably had their reasons. It's definitely different than LOTHF, in a good way. I wouldn't say it's better, but it's...different. |

| Some observations after listening to the album for a full week:
-This is a really great album and an excellent conclusion to the whole trilogy. Huge props to the band for working so hard to make Anti-Meridian a reality; it was worth every bead of sweat that went into it.
- Knowing that the theme was suppose to be about 'going home', I figured it was going to be a bunch of allegories about heaven, but the lyrics go so much deeper then that. They really have a lot more to say about what the Christian life is like after accepting salvation, and how even after accepting Christ, the world (and humanity) is still in a very corrupted, fallen state. Some pretty deep/intense issues get brought up (Starling, Fields of the Fallen, Blessed are the Landmines, etc.)
- Dennis sings even more on this record, and they're all really great, particularly Hero's Homecoming and Begin Again. It took me forever to really warm up to his songs on the other albums, so I was pleasantly surprised to dig them so quickly this time around.
- Keep your ears open towards the end of These Frail Hands for a beautiful homage to So Far From Home and The Light of Things Hoped For.... I still wind up with a smile on my face every single time I listen to that part of the song.
- This is just my opinion, but Invictus really sounds less like the closing track of Anti-Meridian and more like an epilogue for all three albums. The first two lines perfectly sum up everything that Brave Saint Saturn has been about.

I thought Blessed are the Landmines is a pretty bold topic for a Christian band to take on. (This one is one of my favorites form the album, not just for the message, but for some awesome sounds on Andrew's part.) Quote:

I thought his songs were a fantastic addition to the album, and his voice has gotten much better since the last album (as did Reese's!) Quote:

| It's here! And it is good. I only listened once, so I'm not sure quite what to think of it yet, but it is good. |

Looking forward to getting them.

| Anybody else get the CD yet?
Mine's slowly starting to make its way into some of my everyday mixes. I'm also considering trying Invictus out on one of the nights I do worship. |

| I've received my copy. It's pretty dang excellent. I was quite impressed by the songs that Dennis wrote and sang. He really stepped up his game on this album. |

| Has anyone seen any chords posted for any of the songs yet? Especially "These Frail Hands"? |

| Gosh! I didn't know there were so many fans here for the band. I pre-ordered it back in... June? I forget. I got it relatively timely, that is, compared to many others.
I really like the album; it isn't very high quality, but there are a lot of hooks and good lyrics.
Oh yeah, and I am minarchist on their forum. |
