| Quo IS a word. Okay, so I just played a game of scrabble with my parents and I basically won off of the word "quo" for 24 points. They claim I've cheated because I can't use quo in a sentence. I searched quo on the internet, it shows up on dictionary.com. Anyhow, if anybody could give me a way I could use quo in a sentence (and other than status-quo) it would be appreciated.

Help a brotha prove a point.... | quid pro quo. Its Latin, not English and thus invalid. |

| Quo is Latin. Your points are forfeit. You lost the game. Sorry.

HOWEVER, the scrabble dictionary is the ultimate authority on whether a word counts or not. You should check there.
I still think it's not a valid word, though.
******* Here's a list of 3-letter words. "QUO" is not so much a word...."QUA" on the other hand....

| You cheated. "Quo" is not English, therefore does not count in Scrabble. |

| Did they challenge the word before the game ended? If so then you lose. If not you win! |

| According to the official scrabble dictionary ( Scrabble Game), "quo" is not a word. "Qua," however, is a word. My friend Harrison has frequently used it in Scrabble. |

| I saw a flock of quos flying over my house.
I am an expert cheater. A quo is a black bird that gets in people's gardens. |
