#3 | | intentionally left blank. | I just can't decide yet. I like Jon's, Fandrew's and Sarah's.
It's unfair; mine seems so lacking in comparison. [/whining]

| Jon's pwns. It is MC Esher-esque, with the shadow. And then when you think that he did that with film..... *mind is blown* |

| i'm not crazy about the first three or the fifth because they are kind of dark. i voted for hapa_angel's photo because it is a fairly bright photo and i like the way the lines come together and stuff. |

| I voted for JayCarrfan's because it really shows the topic the best. Rainer's is a sweet picture, but I think it's too abstract looking to be considered an architecture shot.

| I suppose this would show stylistic leanings. I know personally, I'm a huge fan of when an artist can take something usual and show something unusual with it. For example, the work of this artist: http://www.architechgallery.com/arch...eine_isom.html
I find a distinct difference between 1) using a photograph to show great architecture, and 2) Using architecture to produce a great photograph.
I went with Sarah's photo because I saw that it was using architecture to produce a beautiful, well balanced composition. The patterns that the lines make form a very visually appealing image, and the perspective also was interesting. The lines from the corners led the eye through the shot, and the open window in the lower third was really well set off by those lines. Also, great contrast and form. |
