"Runaway greenhouse theories contradict energy balance equations," Miskolczi states. Just as the theory of relativity sets an upper limit on velocity, his theory sets an upper limit on the greenhouse effect, a limit which prevents it from warming the Earth more than a certain amount.
| The reason that Venus is signifigantly hotter than Mercury is because of a greenhouse effect caused by its aptmosphere.
Further, I doubt that there are accurate historical global temperature maps for Mars, and want a cite.
Of course, his two position are in opposition to one another. He seems to simultaniously say that the issue isn't Earth-centric (by saying the same thing is happening on Mars) and saying that it's not something to worry about because Earth will only do so much (execpt that Earth isn't doing it?).
Some other articles from them:
Plastic bags aren't bad for animals / envyronment: http://www.dailytech.com/article.aspx?newsid=11018
Electric vehicles are bad: http://www.dailytech.com/The+Surpris...ticle11048.htm
Global warming isn't happening at all (which contridicts the article you mentioned): http://www.dailytech.com/article.aspx?newsid=10866
No wait, it is happening, and it is caused by Earth, but you can fix it with composting: http://www.dailytech.com/article.aspx?newsid=10845 |

| Jerry, those ad-hominem attacks at dailytech.com are irrelevant, because each of the things you linked to is an opinion blog by a different author. The only one written by the same author was the one about the plastic bag exaggeration. (Note, he wasn't denying the possibility of plastic bags harming the environment. He was remarking that the vast animal casualties supposedly happening due to plastic bags have been grossly misstated and manipulated.)
But if you want another source on this guy... http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1981617/posts

| So one is from him?
Let's see if I can find a likely fault in his stated comment.... hrm. He suggested that global warming had an upper limit to effect. Venus is hotter than Mercury because of the greenhous effect. |
