"Runaway greenhouse theories contradict energy balance equations," Miskolczi states. Just as the theory of relativity sets an upper limit on velocity, his theory sets an upper limit on the greenhouse effect, a limit which prevents it from warming the Earth more than a certain amount.
The reason that Venus is signifigantly hotter than Mercury is because of a greenhouse effect caused by its aptmosphere.

Further, I doubt that there are accurate historical global temperature maps for Mars, and want a cite.

Of course, his two position are in opposition to one another. He seems to simultaniously say that the issue isn't Earth-centric (by saying the same thing is happening on Mars) and saying that it's not something to worry about because Earth will only do so much (execpt that Earth isn't doing it?).

Some other articles from them:
Plastic bags aren't bad for animals / envyronment: http://www.dailytech.com/article.aspx?newsid=11018

Electric vehicles are bad: http://www.dailytech.com/The+Surpris...ticle11048.htm

Global warming isn't happening at all (which contridicts the article you mentioned): http://www.dailytech.com/article.aspx?newsid=10866

No wait, it is happening, and it is caused by Earth, but you can fix it with composting: http://www.dailytech.com/article.aspx?newsid=10845

Jerry, those ad-hominem attacks at dailytech.com are irrelevant, because each of the things you linked to is an opinion blog by a different author. The only one written by the same author was the one about the plastic bag exaggeration. (Note, he wasn't denying the possibility of plastic bags harming the environment. He was remarking that the vast animal casualties supposedly happening due to plastic bags have been grossly misstated and manipulated.)

But if you want another source on this guy...

So one is from him?

Let's see if I can find a likely fault in his stated comment.... hrm. He suggested that global warming had an upper limit to effect. Venus is hotter than Mercury because of the greenhous effect.

I'm well aware of that charlatan peddling his snake-oil-as-science to anyone he can make a buck off of.

Fact check him some and then see what you think.

My goodness, I've been raised up on Kent Hovind propaganda at my church and school and I still can't stand the guy. Half of his 'arguments' just involve insulting the other side. The fact that he refuses to do written debates and only does vocal debates shows to me that his talent lies more in the area of public speaking than science.

Even if there is only one possible unified theory, it is just a set of rules and equations. What is it that breathes fire into the equations and makes a universe for them to describe? The usual approach of science of constructing a mathematical model cannot answer the questions of why there should be a universe for the model to describe. - Stephen Hawking

I have shown your link.In this link it depends on story of Greenhouse Equations Totally Wrong. This paper is more nonsense of a piece with the unpublished MS by Gerlich and Tseuschner, though with the difference that this one is published in an obscure Hungarian weather journal rather than not being published at all. The main use of this paper is as an exercise in “spot the errors” for a grad student in radiative transfer. We could comment on it,but on the whole it’s more worthwhile to spend time commenting on things that have passed review in the more major journals and don’t have such obvious flaws.
