| What does it take to get a job at Rite Aid? I'm planning on getting a simple job at Rite Aid nearby my town. I'm planning on working on weekends. What are some of the qualifications for getting a job at a Rite Aid? Also, do I need to wear a tie in order to look presentable?

| You'll get absolutely no help from us. Just go to the store and ask.
It's unlikely there are any qualifications, other than being drug-free and mobile. In fact, probably the more "qualifications" you have, the less likely it is they'll want to hire you. And, no, you won't have to wear a tie. They'd probably look at you funny.

| Well, at least I got that figured out. My mom thinks it will help convince the guys at Rite Aid that I'm organized.

For an interview, just being polite and organized in 'thought' will get you much farther than any tie would. Of course, being presentable and well-groomed helps. |

| You have to be willing to work for dirt and wear a goofy vest.
Seriously, I think the only requirement here in NH is that you have to be sixteen. I used to work at a pharmacy that was bought out by Rite Aid... I hope you like feather dusting! |

| Walgreens is better, though not by much. But their hours are pretty rough. Most large operations like Rite Aid, Wal-Mart, Walgreens, Target, etc. like to receive applications online, too.

Not always, but that is my general experience. I got a one-of-a-kind supervisor position here simply because I was the only applicant who went out of his way to come in and meet my boss. And now I'm making $16 an hour. not bad.
