I love all the Kingdom Hearts. I even have some of the Kingdom Hearts books. I can't wait for the 3rd one to come out but they are only making it for the PS3. I have a PS2 and I don't have the money to go out and buy a PS3. Is there any other Kingdom Hearts fans out there?

I'm a fan of KH series. But, I don't think that the 3rd KH will be called Kingdom Hearts 3. So far, there's 3 new installments. Check it out on www.kh2.co.uk

Those aren't the core series. They are offshoots akin to Chain of Memories. I will likely be getting the DS version regardless, someday.

there is an upcoming game in the core series titled Kingdom Hearts 3. to my understanding, though, it is not along the same story line as the first two. If that's true, then that coupled with the fact that it's PS3 exclusive may cause my break from the series quite easy.

Ok, so this may not be that far off the original story, as I believe I saw Roxas (or someone with the same hair who also looks much like him, lol) get frozen and potentially killed there. Other than him and Mickey, I didn't recognize anyone, aside from possibly the dark form of Riku who was travelling with the old hunched over guy. They had a similar outfit anyways.

Again, though, these videos are highly conceptual and don't necessarily reflect what the fully completed game will contain. Although they did do a beatiful job incorprating the hidden ending to KH1 into KH2.

EDIT: a second viewing of the video showed Roxas' eyes moving after being frozen and falling, so scratch the death part.
