Cross country running

Indeed it is. Here you can talk all about cross country stars and athletes and the sport itself. Oh, don't forget if you like it and why or why not. etc.

I love running cross country..it just stinks that its during football season and for me football > C.C.

I still enjoy running long distances on my own time and whatnot.

That's awesome. I don't actually run cross country, but I like to run a bit to keep in shape for soccer & basketball. Right now I can only do about 3 miles. I hope to pump that up to 5 over the summer.

Even if football was a different season, I'm sorry, but I just don't think you'd get the marching band to play at your XC meets.

I loved Cross Country!!!

Get those guys who do road racing all the time and put them on grass and watch them fall apart after the first mile

Ran track and cross country into my 40s but now I'm stuck biking for the duration. Almost 30 years of track (mile & 1/2 mile, or 1500 and 800 later on) I did end up with track knee

Nothing like running and feeling the wind in your hair and the endorphines taking over on a long run.

*sighs* running is so overrated. but I DO run all the time, and I like it. I just run to keep in shape for skiing.
