I got the package I won today!
Inside was the book, The Amazing Adventures of Dietgirl, another book called Cake Bible, a block of 62% cocoa solid chocolate, a pack each of Tim Tams, Macaroons, and Mallowpuffs, some mix cds, and a bottle of ginger-peach shower creme.
What a massive haul! The Cake Bible was a birthday present from the person who did the contest, which was really nice |

| New video! I made an animation with all the stuff I got. It took pretty much all day to make (with some GT5: Prologue demo and Alan Partridge breaks ) so you should definitely feel guilted compelled into watching it Plus it's only like 20 seconds. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SvkaYvmKhcs |

| Are the Tim Tams good? They sound good. The Mallowpuffs look good, too. I went to the websites for both. Man you guys got some good sounding snack items down there. |

If you ever happen to get your hands on a pack of Tim Tams, the Tim Tam Slam is a must. It makes the Tim Tam the BEST biscuit in the world, hands down. Nothing is better. And i mean that objectively.

| So I thought I'd enter the photo challenge this week. Here's what I came up with. I just wanted to put this in here to... I don't know...
Okay, I just don't want to be the first to post an entry! Especially seeing as I've never done it before
So, when someone else posts theirs, I'll post mine.
Here it is, btw:
Here's the description I wrote for it:
"Well, it's pretty self explanatory. It was for a contest in which we had to take a self portrait photo that represented something about us. I spend a lot of my time on a computer doing something or other, and a lot of my identity is tied up in computer, so much so that I suppose sometimes the lines between the virtual me and the real me get blurred, which is why I'm not exactly the focus of this picture, but I am the subject. I suppose it's all really obvious, and perhaps not the greatest picture, but I'm learning, and that's what the contest is about " |

*enlightened* | Haha, well done
Man. Working on an animation for 9 hours straight and then finding out you messed up the last 100 or so frames is NOT fun. Didn't take as long to fix, though.
I still have a ways to go, I think, but I'm 3/4 done.
*edit*
WOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Finished all the frames! Now to record the audio, and put it all together!

WOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Completely finished the video!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now to upload it! 3.6 megs, or something, on a 128kbs line! Ugh!
But it's DONE!
Wow. I learned quite a few things from making this. Like how it takes about 4 days of work, 5 if you include the planning, to make a 1 min. 20 sec. animation. So the kind of hours that go into making longer animations and computer graphics sequences must be immense. Although I suppose they have tools designed to make things easier.
But wow. It's so... good just to complete it.
I'll post the link once it's upped.

| I totally dig it! I have neither the time, nor ability to do something like that, though I wish I did. |
