Set the date yesterday. September 3rd 2011... It's going to be a while but I have to wait for her to graduate, and I need to get on that myself.

Congrats. I never understood exactly how difficult it would be to set a date until I went through it myself. I have found that the whole engagement thing is more stressful than anything I've ever went through up until this part of my life.

Good grief this thread is old. Also, for those who care, that date of September 3rd... was pushed back again due to schools and monies and stuff. It's now, and this is more concrete because we actually have church/caterer etc. reserved for March 24, 2012.
