Good tripod?

So I recently bought myself a Rebel XTi with the 17-85 f/4-5.6 IS USM lens. I also plan to get the 70-200 f/4 L-series lens later on this Spring, so keep that extra weight in consideration.

Now I want to get the best tripod I can for the money. I really don't want to spend hundreds of dollars on a tripod, but I also don't want to trust my equipment to a $14.99 tripod from eBay. Does anyone have any recommendations? I'd like to keep the cost as low as possible, but I still want a quality tripod. (Rather paradoxical, huh?)
