How do I prepare for the essay section of the SAT?

First off, I am homeschooled, so I've had very little real writing practice. I'm going to be taking the SAT in a few months (I hope), and I need to work on that. How should I go about it? I don't really have anyone to grade my stuff or offer SAT-like questions.

I'm homeschooled and I write all the time (and love it).

Read a book about the SAT put out by Princeton Review. Don't let the size discourage you. I'm working through it right now. It honestly is amazing, and puts things in a real relevant "teen" way (aka easy to understand).
