Don't argue with me on this, I have a ton of experience in the area of local intranet and wide intranet routing and file storage. Have you ever built a mail server? A linux router? Do you know how to configure RAID 5? Do you run multiple networks on a switch?

I really, really know what I am doing here, and what I have said is true. Now, I am about to start getting argumentative here, so i will let you have the last word and bow out. I apologize if I got to heated about this. To each his own, I guess.
Geeeeeeze. Take a breather. I wasn't trying to argue or prove my geekish dominance. You've proved you are teh uber geek. Congratulations. No need to be so defensive.

Though Andrew does have a good point. Two 500 gig drives for a server are way better than one TB. Since, as he said, you can set it in RAID.

I know that now. In all honesty, I knew that before, it just didn't enter my mind as a possibility. RAID isn't something I know a whole lot about, so it wasn't the first thing that entered my mind. But I do know what it is and what it does, just never used it myself.
