Oh wait, it doesn't. | I don't think his point was that he's disqualified from seeking an alternative. He was simply challenging the reasoning for seeking an alternative. |

It wasn't just a post of "Hey, I want to find a Christian artist that sounds like Linkin Park." It seems he listened to them until they started swearing. So what do you expect when you listen to secular artists? Is what disqualifies their music as being profitable for Christians simply that they cuss?
And I think you knew I meant that, Bobroach, but whatever. I'd rather have the original poster respond.

| How do Pillar, TFK, or Project 86 sound anything like Linkin Park, or a Linkin Park with 'more screaming'? If you can't think of a close match, why post one?

Early Project 86 and P.O.D. are certainly close enough to Linkin Park to make the comparison. |

| You would like Red, as someone else recommended, they are the most similiar to LP in my mind. They are really good live too, whatever thats worth.

| Red is a definitely a choice, and 38th parallel would be good, but not all of their songs are the same style...if you have iTunes, get "Turn These Tides" though, awesome song. Apologetix does a couple of Christian parodies of Linkin Park, very accurate too-check them out. Blindside would be another choice, some screaming, not much rapping, and the music is different...but check em out. |

#24 | | Baritone ax'er | Red is a band that you should check out, they do a fair amount of screaming, especially in their song called "Breath Into Me" (He overdid his screaming in that song IMO though).

I was just re-repeating what several people here have already said and stating a song that has a fair amount of screaming in it, which, its seems, is what he's looking for, more screaming than LP.
