i am trying to set up two of our computers for remote desktop connection but i am having trouble. whenever i try connecting it says something about not being able to find a termintal server. what do i do? both computers are running XP, my PC is a older one with XP home edition and the other computer is a much newer P4 running XP pro.

You can only connect to a computer that is running XP Pro. Home edition will only let you connect to computers with RDP.

On the computer with XP Pro, go into the Control panel and make sure that you have RDP enabled. Click on the System icon and look under the "Remote" tab. There should be some way to enable it there. Also make sure that the user account you want to use for logging in is one of the allowed users.

While you have that window open, go to the Computer Name tab and take note of the "Full computer name." When you open the RDP client on Home edition, type that name into the box.
