ipod nano usb cord/charger?
Mods, feel free to move this...

I recently bought a 1st generation ipod nano from ebay that did not come with the usb cord/charger. Obviously I can buy one of those as well, but I don't know if it matters which one I buy. There seem to be some choices. Will any of them be compatible with any ipod? Or does it matter which usb cord I buy?

I'm pretty sure all cords are the same for iPods except for shuffles. If you buy a wall charger meant for an iPod, you could probably get the right cable to come with it to hook it up to the computer.

All cables meant for iPod will work for yours.

That will work just fine for you, PLUS, it will be a car charger.
