| Setting up wireless internet? My family got the three Dell Latitude C600 laptop computers with Windows XP Professional. We have a wireless router connected to our Compaq Presario desktop computer. I'm trying to figure out how to set up internet for these three laptops. How would I do this without buying a wireless card or adapter (if I can)?

| Umm...from what I can tell about the C600, it doesn't have a wireless card. The only way to get internet is to plug into the router with an ethernet cable. Then, once you have the computers hooked up, run the Network Setup Wizard.

| Oh, I wondered about that. Would buying an adapter of some sort fix the problem?

| Yeah, it would. I think that you can get a wireless adapter that plugs into the USB port. That does allow the computer to connect to wireless. I don't know a thing about how that stuff works, but make sure it's compatible.
I don't know what's required to install a wireless card, either, that might be a better/cheaper option, but I don't know.
