Thanks for the pic, Matt. If I saw that person in real life, I would punch them in the face. Repeatedly.

If I saw that person I would be torn between punching them and hugging them. Thanks for that, Matt. IT PLEASED ME.

Ell Oh freaking EL.

I see quite a few v6 mustangs running around with "SVT" badges. I think Summit had a special on them or something...

I once saw a "Firebird" windshield shade on a Dodge Charger.
And Type R badges on everything seemed to be the norm a few years ago.
But a BMW badge on a Neon...ok, here's a little trivia that you may not know. Chrysler in Brazil did produce a 1.6l engine that found it's way into both the export Neon and the BMW Mini.
See here:

As far as the M3 badge, that's just inexcusable except that the New Jersey plates and the passenger wearing his hat like an abnormal person are clear giveaways as to the low intelligence of the owner/driver.

No, we second generation Neon owners try to distance ourselves from the posers, dregs and hacks that drive the '94-'99 Neons.
You see, our door glass doesn't rattle when you close the door, the trunks don't leak water, the head gaskets don't leak oil, the instrument cluster circuit boards don't fail, and we weren't subject to those horrific brakes and 13" wheels and tires of the 1st gen cars.

Besides, anyone who puts a BMW and M3 badge on their Neon is dain bramaged.

As the driver of an E46 (BMW 3-series cars including the M3 between 1999 and 2005), I'd just have to snicker if I saw that.

Now if I can just figure out how to get the 6-speed triptronic from the E90 to shoe-horn into my E46... or better still an 8-speed (does GM make one?)

Not that I know of. Lexus does though....but good luck getting that to work.

If you want more than 5 cogs, your best bet would probably be right out of the E46 M3. Either the standard manual or the SMG.

Edit: By the way, which 3-series model do you have? I've actually been looking at E36 318's recently.
