Quick iTunes question

Do I have to sync it to an iPod once I get it? Or can it be anything? Philips, Sony, etc.

And if I can't, can I burn the songs to a disc, and then put them on media player?

iTunes only syncs with ipods... but that doesn't mean you can't convert the files into .mp3 (in iTunes) and then put them on your player.
Are you referring to any song on iTunes or just ones purchased from the store? If your thinking of the store than it depends whether or not it is iTunes plus or whatever the new DRM-Free songs are called.

Actually the DRM free ones are from iTunes Plus, everything else has the DRM stuff in them.

Like someone said, you can rip songs into iTunes with the .mp3 format, and hopefully get them to work on another mp3 player.

When you call anything with harsh vocals "screamo", it makes as much sense as calling anything with distorted guitar "heavy metal".
