Greetings from Clemson University's Outdoor Lab! If you are looking for a place for your Youth Group to take a retreat on a weekend or to participate in a summer missions trip...this is the place. Many youth groups, church organizations, businesses, secular organizations, and others use our facilities year round for their conferences, retreats, summer camp missions, etc. Our facility is located on Lake Hartwell in Clemson, SC and we are 5 miles from the campus of Clemson University.
As a christian I always enjoy seeing christian groups here at the Lab and making new friends. We offer year round cabins, dining services, meeting areas, adventure facilites, and ROPES course activities for team building. We actually host 3 different summer camps during the summer months in which various youth groups come to spend a week and serve as counselors for our special needs populations. The camps are CAMP HOPE for mentally and physically handicapped individuals. CAMP SERTOMA for speech/hearing impaired, disadvantaged kids. CAMP ODYSSEY for kids of our patrons/supporters and faculty of Clemson.
If you are looking for an experience of a lifetime, making new friends, making a difference in the lives of others, and serving others as we are called to do...then check us out. We also hire college age folk as summer counselors. I hope to hear from you.
