Wireless problem

Well, I forgot the password to my wireless router and had to reset it. I filter who can get in the network by MAC addresses. When I reset the router I reentered the MAC address and added WEP encryption.

Here is the problem. My mother's laptop can not access the internet, but it is connected to the router, but when it is hardwired, it can access the internet. My laptop is connected to the router and to the internet. My desktop is connected to the router and internet. The family desktop is hardwired into the router and connected to the internet. My laptop is running Vista, and my desktop is running XP. My mom's laptop is running XP. The family computer is running XP.

Any thoughts? Is it possible that my mom's computer can not support WEP?

Find the option to allow internet access via wireless. A lot of times, when you turn the security up to a ridiculous level like that, your router will disallow wireless internet access.

Thing is that My laptop and my desktop that are connected via wireless can connect to the internet, but my mother's laptop can not. Why would only one computer be locked out of the internet?

Try reentering the MAC? That's really interesting.

If the MAC wasn't enter correctly, I would have no change to even connect to the router. There might be a problem with the dynamic ip....
