Joseph Chambers

Has anybody heard of this guy, Joseph Chambers? He claims to be a Classic Pentecostal preacher and is a critic of the WOF doctrine. He's also a featured columnist on Rapture Ready check it out:

ummm...not really. There isn't anything that interesting...or different. I'm really not sure how this apply's to "Ministry, Missions & Leadership" other than the fact that he's a pastor. Also...if you haven't noticed, this forum gets very little traffic, so you have to post something really useful or interesting to get any reply.

I can move it, but I'm not sure what the point is. If he's featured on Rapture Ready, he's a loon and should be avoided at all costs.

Rapture Ready isn't all that bad. They actually have a page condemning the KJV-only movement and showing that other Bible translations such as NIV, NLT and NASB are okay.

I think the 'negative' part of rapture ready is that all they focus on is their belief that one day they will get sucked away, and not have to worry about this earth. So rather than actually do anything for the kingdom of God (which can mean a lot of different things, depending on who you talk to), they sit on their butts, think about vague anti-technology conspiracy theories, and worry about whether the antichrist is from Russia or China.

so, what's wrong with this dude.
I didn't spend much time on the first link you provided, but i checked out the FAQ's a little. in the very little i browsed, i didn't see anything too terribly wrong about him.

but, i ma not about to start a complete analysis on some preacher from North Carolina...

...which is in fact really really negative.

Interpretation: When you have as many flaws as Rapture Ready does, one little plus doesn't matter. It's still craptastic.
