10 - Amazing CD. Everyone should own it.

8 - One of the top CDs around, but could have been improved in a few places.

from what Ive heard so far, "Fading Away" and "Sixteen" are up at the top. this CD has gone down in guitar parts, and they have a completely different feel in this CD compared to "The Triptych", some good ways and some bad. Ryan's "grunting" voice was better in "The Triptych", but his normal singing voice has improved, evident in "Fading Away". 8 for me, "Follow the Wolves" is a pretty good song, but Ive only heard the 30 sec. preview, could be a single for this album.

"Sixteen" is hands down the best song imo, and I love that they had Bruce make an appearance.

I give it a 6. I like the faster pace of the album. It's good for Demon Hunter fans, but not great or outstanding.

"Carry Me Down" pretty much knocked my face off the first time I heard it. What an incredible song. This album is incredible--reminds me of their self-titled album in spots, but still great. Two thumbs up.

When it comes to this genre, KSE and All That Remains are way more talented.

well......this was different from the other cds.this had thrash/death/melodic metal.i gave it a nine because it was a different approach from other bands.i had tried becoming the archetype,august burns red and as i lay dying and i was not impressed with the results,though demon hunter is different from other bands this was a enjoyable cd from begining from end.though i had a let down hearing that this was going to be death metal.the title track had my blood going and the songs went into sing by the 4th song it was still good to hear demon hunter in another style this will be beneficial to them in the future.the 6th was awesome and i am addicted to it like the 11th and 12th with had gothic taste, mellow parts, great break-downs and solos.this cd is very moody which is good for different tastes.the best metal cd this year would have to be demon hunter,next is as i lay dying even though they are disorganized and crazy.if demon hunter mixes the triptych style with storm the gates of hell style with greater riffs with lead throughout the song like A.I.L.D and greater leads this band will be better than living sacrifice. KEEP IT UP DEMON HUNTER!!!!!!!!!
